Post your news flashes from your chosen country under DISCUSSIONS. Think about these things:
1. Choose news items connected to your country, of course.
2. Choose news items from an Internet site. Below you can find some useful links to English-speaking newpapers online.
3. Always link to the site where you found your news item.
4. Retell the news item in formal English.
5. Adapt your language to your receivers.
6. Write at least 1 news flash to be able to reach at least G-grading.
NOTE! When you write your news flash you must try to use a formal language; passive form, advanced vocabulary and sentence structure, no slang and no contracted forms (it's, don't, can't etc). Use linking words to make your text more professional, advanced and easy to read. Also, you must cover the basic and important information of the article; this means that you should make the whole scenario clear to the reader; the five questions who, when, where, where, how should be clear to the reader. Do not forget to write a title and to post the link where you found the news.
